Power Automate is a cloud-based system that lets you create automated workflows, simplifying business processes and managing them effectively. It can automate repetitive processes on a schedule, instantly, or when triggered by a change (“trigger”) in data—for example, a record update or the arrival of a new email.
Power Automate is highly versatile and can connect to more than 500 data sources using connectors already available from Microsoft and third parties.
It can also connect to specific APIs by configuring a custom connector or through direct queries.
Power Automate does require an Office 365 license for development and execution. However, if these automated flows need to be used by multiple users and with strong execution performance, you’ll need dedicated Power Automate licensing.
